Shrouded Harvest Moon
Last night's full moon was shrouded in a foggy mist, but that didn't stop a group of intrepid painters from setting up and getting 'er done in spite of the cold dampness. We had what would have been a lovely view of Santa Barbara and the harbor from Campanil Hill at our friend Elizabeth's home. Instead we did our best with a mysterious fog, and misty landscape. Fortunately the glowing harvest moon made an appearance. Thank you Elizabeth for the good cheer, yummy treats and libations. The 2008 Sommavite Brunello di Montalcino was a wonderful antidote to the chill in the air.
